Selfie Art Exhibition for International Day of People with Disability

The ‘Selfie’ Community Art Project, supported by the City of Mandurah and facilitated by Chorus – Ability Arts opens on International Day of People with Disability.

Mandurah locals living with a disability were invited to create a self-portrait which expressed their personality, skills and interests.

Art kits were provided to each artist which included a canvas, paint, brushes and pens. There have been 50 finished artworks submitted, each accompanied by a story and a selfie of the artist with their artwork. The artworks reflect a diverse community, with our youngest participant aged 7!
