How Aboriginal people lived and managed their lives
The Impact of Colonisation
How colonisation dramatically affected and changed the way Aboriginal people lived often through legislation
The objective of the establishment of an Alcohol and Other Drugs and Mental Health Community of Practice in Great Southern WA is to deliver a series of workshops and capacity building opportunities, in Albany and Katanning, to GP’s, AOD and MH services providers which include:
- Collective Impact training by Chorus
- Culturally appropriate practices by SAC
- Suicide and Self Harm with Young People by headspace Albany
- Recognising and Responding to issues around Methamphetamines by Palmerston
