Personal Care and Medication Administration
Personal hygiene, nutrition and medication are all things that improve the quality of life. These things can become difficult as you get older, especially when living on your own. Chorus provides support for people who want to continue to live independently but might need aged care services in the home to feel confident and safe.
We can support your independence at home by helping you with personal care and taking medication.
One of the most challenging things about aged care for older Australians is recognising the need to rely on others. Sometimes accepting home care support is essential if you want to continue to live in your home and community. Service providers, like Chorus, are focused on aged care quality services for personal care and medical care, to help people live the life they choose.
Chorus aged care services provide help with day-to-day activities
If you have an aged care home services package (Home Care Package or Commonwealth Home Support Programme), Chorus can help you with daily tasks related to personal care to make you comfortable while living at home:
- maintaining personal hygiene
- washing
- showering
- bathing
- grooming
- dressing
- toileting.
We can also help you prepare meals, help you take your medication or remind you to take your medication.
Did you know Chorus also provides gardening and home maintenance services for seniors?
